Fast food sweepstakes are quite popular and alluring, but how lucky do you have to get to win one of those good prizes? Sure it's good enough to win free food from time to time and all, but you're playing for the big prizes, right? Wouldn't you like to win one? If so, you may have tried to look up the odds on some of these sweepstakes competitions before. 

 

Naturally, the fast food companies want you to think your chances of winning are good. That is why they put in those small prizes. They can then say one out of every few or so is a winner. It does help to win something instead of winning nothing against the odds. But still, it makes you think you have a better chance of winning than you really do, doesn't it? 

 

Everyone can dream, however, and the point isn't to change the odds of winning because you can't. The point isn't to not participate in the competitions because they're fun and give you free food. The point is just to help you realize that it is a long shot for you to win that new car!

 

You might be interested to know if you don't already that there are non-food prizes that are also easier to win. They still are harder than the food prizes generally speaking, but you do win them from time to time. 
 

 

 

I was reading a guy's blog, and he had went to participate in one of the fast food sweepstakes contests at a local fast food restaurant. He purchased a huge amount of food to be able to get a good control group for his experiment. He actually won more than expected just cool sweepstakes to read about, and like one of his non-food prizes was song downloads for free. 

 

It does show that maybe they definitely keep the prizes coming at the ratio they claim, and even include non-food prizes at a decent rate. Yet, those grand prizes seem a little elusive don't they? What do you think your chances would be of winning a million dollar prize? 

 

It would definitely be more than one in a million! That tells you something, but keep your hopes up and keep on playing if you ask me. There are plenty of competitions and playing more of them does help increase your chances of winning.
