When I was growing up, fast food sweepstakes meant McDonald's monopoly only for the most part, as far as I remember at least. Along with the fast food giveaway opportunity at McDonald's when I was growing up, it was a couple other opportunities, like the codes off of Sprite bottles, and you could even win free 20 oz Sprites. It was a big deal for us as kids, and then as a young adult, it was Coke Rewards Points. But, again, back to fast food giveaways and sweepstakes, there are many more opportunities all the way around in this day and age. 

 

What is your favorite fast food restaurant? It's hard for me to choose mine because I most often go to what is closest, and there are other reasons. For example, one of my favorites was a chain that isn't available where I live now, and then one of my favorites is a little further away. I also have different types of food that I like, so like everyone else, I like them all!

 

I will say, however, that if you made me pick, I would tell you that my favorite fast food restaurant is Captain D's. It is aligned with the type of place I live, a coastal town, and I love me some fried fish, slaw, hushpuppies and fried okra. It's a lot of calories, but that is some really good fast food right there. I need to see if they have any sweepstakes competitions going on right now.
